Wendi Bellows

Wendi Bellows, Grants Coordinator, genuinely believes in grants as a mechanism that empower organizations to thoughtfully plan and deliver the programs that make the world a better place. She has more than 16 years of grant writing, research, and administration experience with non-profit organizations, businesses, academia, and K-12 schools. Her experience as a grant writer spans from writing private foundation grants to state government and large and complex multi-institutional federal grants.
Over the course of her career, she has acquired more than $50 million for the organizations she has worked with. She has a Bachelor's of Liberal Arts degree with a focus on Natural History from the Evergreen State College, a Master’s of Arts degree in Environment and Community from Antioch University and completed all coursework towards a PhD in Interdisciplinary Ecology at the University of Florida. Wendi currently lives in Sarasota, Florida with her two children. When she is not working on grants, Wendi can be found hunting shark teeth on the Gulf of Mexico, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, biking, hiking, or traveling. |
